Application:
Ink Type 434 is a high speed, single component ink formulated for un-treated Polypropylene.
The ink viscosity may be adjusted with thinner (if needed). A slower drying thinner or retarder may be added to slow drying rate during printing.

Temperature:
Recommended room temperature: 70-78 degrees F.
Recommended room humidity 30-50 %

Pad printing:
Ink 434 is supplied in paste form. This ink is recommended for sealed cup as well as open ink well pad printing systems.

Recommended cliché depth:
 7 to 25 microns for pad printing, depending on type of cliché. The ink can be applied single or double hit. If a double hit is required, additional cure time may be required.

Additives:
Thinner:
THINNER VD For most applications 10 to 15% by weight
THINNER BGA Slower evaporation than “VD Thinner” 10 to 15% by weight
THINNER B For high speed applications 10 to 15% by weight

Retarder:
TPD RETARDER (1 To 3 % by weight)

Other:
FULLER 33 at 6 % by weight for write-on capable Ink

Drying & Curing:
Ink Type 434 dries to the touch within seconds at room temperature. Drying time may be reduced with forced hot air at 200 – 400 degrees F. Normally, full cure is achieved after one to two days depending on curing temperature time, and humidity. Heat curing is recommended for better adhesion and performance results.

Shelf life:
Ink 434: 1 Year (Original sealed container)
Thinner: 2 Years (Original sealed container)
Retarder: 2 Years (Original sealed container)
Reseal lid tightly after using
