Printing Plates:
ITW Imtran offers both etched and unetched plate materials, as well as plate processing supplies and equipment. These materials can be used with Trans Tech, Imtran, and most competitive equipment. We have several "standard" materials, as well as many special purpose materials for specific applications, such as laser plate engraving.

Unlike other companies that offer etched printing plates on an outsource basis, ITW Trans Tech has been manufacturing plates in-house for over 30 years, controlling every aspect of quality and delivery.

Traditional Pad Printing Plate Materials:
• Long Run — Special Ground Flat Hardened Tool Steel
• Medium Run — Precision Flat Thin Steel
• Short Run — Polymer (Alcohol and Water Wash)

Next Generation Plate Materials:
• LPM — Steel Backed Polymer for Laser Engraving for use w/CO2 Lasers
• SLA — Coated Aluminum for Laser Engraving for use w/ YAG Lasers

Plate Services:
ITW Trans Tech offers a full service art department, capable of providing total art creation, small modifications, or film outputs. We can help with multi-color art separations, screen and depth control, and precise artwork positioning.

We offer etched thick and thin steel plates, polymer, and laser engraved plates.
