INSTRUCTIONS:

NOTE: Read Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Prior To Use

Ink Type B/GL is a two-component product supplied in paste for. Hardener must be added for production use. Ink and hardener should be thoroughly mixed prior to adding thinner. During printing, the ink viscosity may be adjusted with thinner (if needed). A retarder may be added to slow drying rate during printing (normally for high room temperatures or multi-color use). Under most conditions, ink pot life is approximately eight hours. Recommended room temperature 70-78 degrees F. Recommended room humidity 30-50 %

ADDITIVES: (See Additives Chart for more listings)

Hardeners: (mixing ratio, ink to hardener)
• BH/GL (20 parts ink to one part hardener; Ratio by weight) For most applications.
• BH/GL-02 (20 : 1; Ratio by weight) More chemical resistant (ratio variable depending on substrate).

Thinners:
• THINNER B (5 to 20 % by weight) after adding Hardener; Normal
• THINNER 262 (5 to 20 % by weight) If ink flow problems occur.

Retarder:
• TPD RETARDER (1 TO 3 % by weight) after adding Hardener and Thinner.

DRYING & CURING: (See Ink Drying & Curing Times Chart )
Ink TYPE B/GL dries to the touch within 1 – 2 minutes at room temperature. Drying time (to the touch) may be reduced with forced hot air at 200 – 400 degrees F. Oven curing is then recommended for at least 20 minutes at 280 degrees F. Normally, full cure is achieved after 1 to 2 days depending on curing temperature, time, and humidity. Heat curing is necessary for better adhesion and performance results.

COLORS: (See Color Availability Chart )
Ink Type B/GL is available in:
• 23 Standard Opaque Colors
• Standard Metallic Colors
• Process colors
• C-Mix 2000 Color Matching System

NT (non-toxic) Inks
Our NT Series Inks conform to US C.O.N.E.G. Legislation and European Standard EN 71, part 3 Safety of Toys (1989) For special applications - examples, Medical. Automotive; MIL-STD please contact us.

USE & STORAGE INFORMATION
(For more detailed information see Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for Type B/GL Ink.

Ink Type B/GL:
Stir ink thoroughly before removing from container. Reseal lid tightly after using.
Shelf Life: Two years (in original sealed container)

HARDENER: Reseal container immediately after using. Hardener is humidity sensitive. As moisture is absorbed, the viscosity first increases, then starts forming crystals. Do not use when crystals first appear. Shelf Life: one year (in original sealed container)

THINNER: Reseal lid tightly after using. Shelf Life: two years (in original sealed container)

RETARDER: Reseal lid tightly after using. Shelf Life: two years (in original sealed container)

STORAGE OF ALL PRODUCTS: At room temperature 60 to 80 Degrees F with low humidity.
