TECHNICAL DATA: PULSAR LPM Part number: # 10000241 Platemaking Procedure: 1. Create art file and store in specified location using compatible commercial graphics program. 2. Select plate size to be made in drop down box (see A in photo below at right) and click “show template”. Choose from: 70mm x 140mm; 90 x 165; 100 x 215; 150 x 280; or 150 x 300. Other sizes available upon request. 3. Select recipe for image style and etch depth. Choose from: solid image; support screen; four-color process; or half-tone screen (B). 4. Import artwork file created in step one; superimpose it on template and position in x – y (C) and 90-degree rotation (D). Automatically insert user-defined information text on plate position that is not under cup travel path (E). 5. Initiate plate-burning cycle. Software Features: • "Etching Plate" box shows on screen during laser etching process. • Audio alert sounds when etching is complete. • Save, open & delete file commands. • System records mark time, average mark time and number of plates marked at end of process. • Optional vacuum unit keeps internal work surfaces clean; turns on and shuts off automatically during process. PULSAR LPM™ is an innovative laser platemaking device
capable of producing high quality pad printing cliché plates for a wide range of applications with fast processing time.

Fast Process
Its compact size makes the Pulsar LPM an easily transportable desktop device. The 120v connection and integrated cooling based on thermo-electrical technology ensure quick and easy initial operation, cutting cliche processing to minutes instead of hours.

Easy To Operate
Operation of the laser is enhanced by a user-friendly input screen which enables the customer to exactly determine the location and type of image on the cliché plate by selecting desired choices from several menus. A special safety feature is the enclosed marking area (Laser Class 1) with special tinted glass. Therefore safety goggles need not be worn by the operator.

High Quality Etch
The finished, etched clichés are the highest quality with type and images of precise resolution. Pulsar LPM is also flexible, allowing many different plate sizes to be pre-selected. The worktable is pre-drilled with pin locators to allow easy changeover from one size cliché to the next.
