Pad Printing
Ink Drying
&
Curing
Times

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Drying & Curing for Non-UV Inks:

1. Heating of parts after printing not only speeds up ink curing, but also usually provides better adhesion to the substrate materials.

2. Times listed above may vary, depending on room temperature, humidity and additives that are mixed with the inks.

3. Some inks have been proven to become increasingly harder up to two months later.

4. For fast curing of parts, first determine the amount of heat the part can safely withstand without damage, then use that temperature as a reference for heating the part in a production mode. The general rule is: a higher temperature requires less time; a lower temperature requires more time.

Since operating conditions and applications are beyond our control, ITW Trans Tech cannot guarantee results nor assume liability for any problem that may arise.
