These devices help to greatly reduce part rejects and increase productivity by neutralizing static charges on and near the printing pad and part, thereby reducing dust attraction and its resultant printing problems.

De-ionizing Charged Particles
Static control is a practical concern for any pad printing operation that decorates various substrates, especially plastics that have a tendency to generate and hold static charges. Unless de-ionized, these charges may attract unwanted dust particles to the part and pad that interfere with proper ink adhesion, thus impairing print quality.

Electrostatic Fieldmeter
Hand•E•Stat Electrostatic Fieldmeter– is a hand-held, non-contact fieldmeter capable of measuring electrostatic potentials up to 20kV with a digital readout. This meter incorporates chopper-stabilized technology which allows for use in an ionized airflow. It is also equipped with an automatic sensor / indicator to show proper measuring distance for voltages to 20kV.
