ITW Trans Tech Presents Worldwide Release Of The Syncro Pad Printing Platform
ITW Trans Tech, a worldwide leader in product decorating systems including pad printing, piezo electric digital inkjet, and consumables has released its Syncro pad printing platform. The Syncro is the latest in a line of cutting edge product decorating systems released from the company.
Carol Stream, IL July 27, 2010 – ITW Trans Tech has released its latest pad printing platform, the Syncro. This is an electromechanical servo driven platform with class leading features. This machine was conceived over several years of intense design studies and is one of the most advanced pad printers on the market. Syncro features a large set of advanced features allowing it to be used as a stand-alone as well as fully integrated automation printer. A list of key features is as follows:
- 3600 cycles/hour
- ExpressPadTM pad system
- ActiveDoctoringTM ink cup hold down system
- Servo driven actuators
- Teach and Save job storage settings
- Profiled motion on cliché index axis improves doctoring performance
- SpaceFrameTM system
- ExpressLinerTM system
- Long stroke capability for printing below base of machine
- Variable stroke adjustment for part and pad compression flexibility
- Increased throat depth for larger parts
- Operator friendly touch screen interface
- QuickRun and Advanced modes for increased customization
- Fully integrated and self-contained tape-off unit
Benefits of the SyncroTM are numerous. The ExpressPadTM pad system is a significant new innovation in pad printing, offering a big advancement in operator convenience along with shorter set up times. ActiveDoctoringTM allows for increased doctoring performance as well as decreased wear on the cliché plate. Servo technology allows for many machine adjustments not normally found on pad printers. A key benefit of this technology is the capability to variably adjust the stroke of the pad. The stroke is adjustable such that products can be printed underneath the machine base. This adjustability, coupled with the increased machine throat depth, allows flexibility to accommodate a wider range of products and part sizes not normally found on conventional pad printers. Syncro incorporates a unique easy program set up feature with “Teach and Save” job storage for fast make-ready and convenient job repeats. Print parameters can easily be recalled for repeat jobs for decreased setup times. Designed to use the well proven SpaceFrameTM and ExpressLinerTM ink cup systems, operating the SyncroTM improves production efficiency by enabling faster set-ups and changeovers on multiple pad printing jobs. A fully integrated and self-contained tape-off device is also an option on this equipment. The tape-off device design, with no overhang on the sides of the machine, allows for simplified integration into automated systems and a smaller footprint.
The SyncroTM will replace the companies outgoing SealcupTM line of pad printers.

ITW Trans Tech Introduces Two New Multicolor Pad Printing Models – Flexibility In A Small Package
(Carol Stream, Illinois August 11, 2009) Trans Tech, a leader in industrial product decoration systems and consumables, is proud to announce the release of the two and four color Aero series pad printers. Electro-pneumatically driven and PLC controlled, these machines offer high value from a multi-color machine with extreme versatility. A touch screen interface makes for easy operation and set-up. The compact design of these printers allows for mobility. Both the two and four color models can be table or bench mounted, placed on an optional machine base, or installed directly into automated systems.
The modular control and efficient machine design provides functionality not normally found on machines in this market segment. Each color station can operate independently from another. Thus, critical process factors such as pad delay, multiple hits, cliché position with XYR movement, and pad stroke are all fully adjustable and independent at each station. This adjustability allows an operator to print projects that might otherwise have required additional machinery or resources.
The Aero™ series also ships with the SpaceFrame™ and ExpressLiner™ ink cup system for color changes faster than other machines on the market.
Options available for these models include: pad cleaner (tape-off device), pneumatic parts shuttle, servo part shuttle, machine base, and custom fixtures.
